The leadsinger from the lengendary group Maxus Jay Gruska is a brilliant songwriter, that has written a lot of songs for other artists. Especially his song "What You Are Missing" that was a big hit for Chicago at their "16" album. He released two albums, the first "Gruska On Gruska" in 1974 where produced by Michael Omartian and with guest musicians such as Larry Carlton and Dean Parks.
Both most people remember his second release "Which One Of Us Is Me", produced by himself and with a star lineup of musicians suchs as Michael Landau, Steve Lukather, Vinnie Colaiuta, Mike Porcaro, John Robinson, Michael Omartian, Carlos Vega, Tim Pierce and others. A great album that has is release in 1984.
Today Jay Gruska is working as a filmcomposer and is also known as a musical director of the movies/ TV drama such as "Lois And Clark" (Superman TV series).
